Winemakers protest to the Wine and
Spirit Board about coolers
A number of winemaker bodies have now weighed in to support
Grape’s protest at the misuse of varietal names on coolers in South Africa. Like
us, they object to some large producers using the names of grape varieties on
the labels of these wine/water/ flavourant concoctions.
